Our Model — Design Participation Program
Shape Your Future. Build Your Equity.
At Front Porch Cohousing, we believe housing should provide more than just shelter — it should provide stability, dignity, and a real opportunity to build equity over time. The current system was not built to solve the housing crisis for neurodivergent adults, so we are building the alternative.
The PORCH℠ Framework: Matching the Model to the Project
Our communities are designed not as programs, but as neighborhoods. Through the PORCH℠ Framework, we utilize the most appropriate financial and residential model for each specific project location.
Pathway A
The Coliving Model
Fractional Ownership — Current model for Hilltown Oaks
The Living Space
A private bedroom/bathroom suite within a high-end, shared single-family home.
Ownership Model
Fractional homeownership through a shared entity (such as a Residence LLC).
The Benefit
Families own a fractional interest in the home's equity rather than paying rent, making ownership attainable even when a full home purchase is financially out of reach.
Pathway B
The Cohousing Model
Direct Ownership — Planned for future multi-use projects like Parkwood Manor
The Living Space
Private 1, 2, or 3-bedroom residences ranging from ~900 to ~1,600 sq. ft.
Ownership Model
Traditional condo-style or deed-restricted ownership.
The Benefit
Strongest alignment with conventional homeownership and estate planning for those seeking a fully independent home base.
